Miss Hetherington of Halfpenny School, crowned Woman of Steel 2024
Miss Hetherington, Teaching Assistant at Halfpenny Lane School, has been crowned Woman of Steel at the 2024 Rugby League Awards. This award follows a fantastic season for Georgie after winning the 2024 Women’s Super League Grand Final and being named Player of the Match for a second consecutive year. Georgie is a fantastic role model for pupils at Halfpenny Lane School and today brought her trophy in to show and tell at a special assembly in her honour.
